What I wish new families knew.....

I WISH every mother knew postnatal doula support existed. Not just Postnatal Doula support but all the other support available too during postpartum. All the breastfeeding support, mental health support, local groups and women's physio support too to name just a few.

If only every mother knew about postnatal planning sessions and was fully informed about the fourth trimester and normal newborn behaviour. It would be wonderful if they received all the information and knew what to expect to help them navigate the transition into motherhood.

If only they knew how much this information and support would benefit both their mental and physical health and their journey to becoming a mother. I just wish they knew!

I wish they could have their first postpartum experience with the wisdom of their first postpartum experience!!
