I'm Cat, a recognised and experienced Doula UK Postnatal Doula based in Guildford, Surrey.
I provide support to families in Surrey, Hampshire and parts of Berkshire.
As your postnatal doula I will support, reassure and encourage you and your family in the early weeks and months after your baby is born as we work together as a team.
I will be there with you to ease your transition into parenthood and help you to have a positive experience during this magical time as a new family; whether you are expecting your first or fourth baby. I provide practical, emotional, informational, flexible support on an ad hoc basis or regular weekly sessions. I am happy to support you with your newborn baby or even when your baby is a little older.
I come with no advice or judgement. You are the expert of your baby. I can offer helpful suggestions based on years of experience with my own children and the many clients I’ve supported along the way; as well as all the training I have undertaken.
My postnatal support covers a wide range. I can help with infant feeding - whether breastfeeding or bottle feeding. I can carry your baby in my sling whilst I get on with various practial tasks around your home, so that you can rest or just have some time to yourself, knowing that your baby is held and cared for. I can take your baby out in their buggy, accompany you to appointments, prepare meals, help with laundry, bed changes and any other household jobs or life admin you need. Every family have different requirements and my postnatal support is flexible to suit your needs.
I will always be a listening ear; your confidante and biggest cheerleader and a reassuring presence in your home. I will walk the journey with you and hold your hand until you no longer need me.

Mother Space Guildford
I also co-host a friendly new parent support group monthly along with the gorgeous Carly Corrigall of CLC Fitness. It takes place here in Guildford, Surrey called Mother Space Guildford where pregnant and new parents can come and connect with other parents and be looked after. These sessions are the coffee mornings we wish had existed when we were both new mums - homemade cake, a hot drink and a chance to chat openly about the ups and downs of new parenthood. Check us out and let us give you a bit of breathing space for an hour or so.
